After a lot of planning I finally got my wish to ride up to North Queenland on my new V - Strom. It's a DL 650, c/w with panniers, top box, engine crash bars, bash plate and sound system.
My son Derek came down from Cairns to join me me for the ride up. Here are some pics on our first days ride which took us to Tweed Heads. Note we stopped at a lot of McDonalds, probably because they were the most motorbike friendly places to stop.
